How to use:

  1. Wipe or dip probe with ethyl alcohol for disinfection.
  2. Push the on/off button. The LCD will show for 2 seconds and you will hear a beep simultaneously. Last tested temperature will be shown for about 2 seconds.  Then LCD shows the self-test temperature of 37.0°C (98.6°F). After that Lo°C (Lo°F) sign shows.
  3. Position the probe in mouth, rectum, armpit etc.
  4. Once the temperature-talking is finished, the degree sign of °C (°F) on the will stop flashing, and you will hear buzzes for approx.10 seconds. The reading will not charge. The tested temperature is shown on LCD. During or after the test, if the test temperature is <32.0°C (or 90.0°F), the LCD shows Lo °C (or Lo °F); If the tested temperature is extra high, the LCD shows Hi °C (or HI °F). Consult doctor at once. After temperature-taking, if the tested temperature is <37.8°C (100.0°F), the buzzes are “Bi- Bi- Bi- Bi-”; if the tested temperature is ≥37.8°C (100.0°F), the buzzes whose frequency are much higher are “Bi-Bi-Bi---- Bi-Bi-Bi---- Bi-Bi-Bi”.
  5. The thermometer will automatically turn off in about minutes for energy-saving. However, to prolong battery life, it is suggested to press the On/Off button to turn the thermometer off once test is finished.
  6. Please dispose exhausted battery and thermometer according to the relevant law.

Note: In step 2, if the room temperature is higher than 32°C (90°F), LCD will display the room temperature, instead of Lo °C (or Lo °F).

Note: use of the probe cover may result in a 0.1°C (0.2°F) discrepancy from actual temperature.

Put the probe into either position marked by “ √ ” as showed in the picture right-hand for about 1 minute. To insure the accuracy, please keep the mouth close for 5minutes before taking temperature. The normal temperature by this method is 35.7°C-37.3°C (96.3°F-99.2°F).

Lubricate the probe with the petroleum jelly for easier insertion. Gently insert the about one centimeter (Less than ½ inch.) Into the patient’s rectum and keep for about 1 minute. The normal temperature by this method is 36.2°C-37.7°C (96.3°F – 99.9°F).

From a medical viewpoint, this method will always provide inaccurate readings. Wipe armpit with a dry towel. Place probe into armpit and keep the arm firmly against the body side for about 1.5 minutes. The normal temperature by this method is 35.2°C - 36.7°C (95.4°F – 98.1°F).

  1. Clean thermometer by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with ethyl alcohol.
  2. Don’t let thermometer contact any chemical thinner.
  3. Not completely waterproof. Do not soak the LCD in water. Only the probe is waterproof.

Do not drop thermometer. It is not shock proof.
Do not bend thermometer.
Do not boil the probe.
Do not store thermometer in direct sunlight.
Do not attempt to disassemble thermometer except replacing the battery.
  Means direct volts D.C.
  Means type B.

  3. Gently pull out the circuit board with battery chamber approximately 1 cm.
  4. Use pointed object such as a pen to take out the exhausted battery. Discard exhausted battery out reach of children.
  5. Place a new 1.5V D.C. button size battery type SR41, UCC 392 or LR41 or equivalent in the chamber with positive side faced up and negative side faced down.
  6. Cover the battery.

The thermometer is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of purchase. If thermometer does not function properly due to defective component or poor workmanship, we will repair or replace it free of charge. All components are covered by this warranty excluding the battery.
